The MCE385 sensor is ideal for use in the garden, around the house or terrace, at the gate, passageways, corridors, basements, warehouses, garages and other places that require lighting or other devices to be turned on when motion is detected.
The sensor identifies day and night (dusk sensor), turns on and off depending on the appearance of an object in the detection field.
The detection angle of 120° and the detection distance of up to 12 meters allow for effective monitoring of a large area.

The main purpose of the sensor is the automatic control of lighting, but it is also possible to connect other electrical devices (e.g. electric heating, air conditioning, etc.), provided that the power receiver does not load the switch with a power greater than 1200 W (resistive load) or 600 W (inductive load).

The TIME knob is used to adjust the lighting time (from about 10 sec to 15 minutes). The LUX knob is used to set the ambient light sensitivity (range from 3 to 2000 LUX). When the ambient light is insufficient and you want the device to work both during the day and night, set the knob to the day position (sun icon).
